    i kinda got somewhere!

    i rang the cs number and the man was actually very polite, nice and helpful. He seemed very honest when he said he understand how i feel and he would do the same, so he rang all the people and basically told me this, they have a policy that if a repair takes 21 and is not completed ie i have my laptop back, then i get a free replacement, and seeing as thats on saturday he said, its easier if you were to wait until then and see if i get my laptop back, if not then i have a no problem path to a new laptop which in the end is all i wanted, he then said that if im unlucky enough to get it back tomorow ( the courior doesnt work on saturday) then i should call them again, quote a number hes given me and hes put on the screen the recommendation that they approve my request, he said it isnt sure fire but its a very good chance to a replacement.

    So im quite pleased, ill know by tomorow evening what will happen!

    thanks dacouch but im already a step ahead as it were, i know about that code, thought i could use the spare money to get a sound system and wireless keyboard and mouse. just got to wait for my vouchers now.

    haha well i know my right, its more the application i was unsure about thats why i needed help, we know what dsg are like, any excuse, lukily i find the tech guys very helpful unlike what most people say, just the rest of them havnt got a clue.

    just a shame its not so much of a good voucher, not too long ago there was on that if you spent over 700 on any electronics then you got 8% off, yould of been much better but cant win everything!

    It was a joke, they have been cutting loads and loads of staff over the last few months.

    ohhh, haha got me going there, i always fear this, as theyre always cheaper than currys and pc world!

    and they probably want to cut staff due to the fact that theyre expanding pc world, me thinks they mite do this with currys eventually, or at least make them two more separated entities, one doing white good, the others entertainment. eventually any ways. theyre building a massive pc world down the road from me, despite there being a currys up the road.

    They are looking at combining currys and pc worlds into one store to save money

    hopefully their cs phone line will be far more streamlined too, its amazing how many complaints departments there are, all of them useless. i really do hope i get to work at pc world though, maybe i can be one of the only honest people in the business!
