Morning!
Had a better night last nightbut freezin and blowing a gale here!
Have 1 washload to do and will be dried in TD. Cleaner is here today, so nothing really to do :j Shes been away for a week, so house is very dusty and got me folks down sunday, so need it gleaming  I might see if she wants a couple of extra hrs and ask if she could do some ironing maybe over weekend-have so much. Wish my energy levels were better, just look at the stairs now and am out of breath..LOL.
OH is fitting some brass sockets in lounge and hallway. The carpet looks lovely on the stairs and I now want it in lounge, but will cost about £600 ATM  may look in sales though as we still have the dosh from selling the dog and would be nice to get something useful out of it rather than wasting. Thing is though, that the carpet is patterned and so is sofa, so would mean new sofa too...LOLJust finding the wooden flooring so cold.
Doing a lamb stew today in SC. Need to make some pizza dough in BM too.
Been invited out to a posh lunch tomorrow as DD is at a party. Havent done this in ages and we're not even payingBIL has offered to take us out-cant wait, be nice tarting myself up abit and getting out. Will see if they have a website and look at menu as I cant manage big portions of food.
Anyways, hugs to all.

Morning everyone
very cold here in worcester too - cant tell if its just a very hard, powdery frost or if maybe there is just a little sprinkling of snow on the car bonnet.
have heaps to do today , a chicken to go in the slow cooker - its going to be struggle to get carrots and leeks out of the ground this morning i imagine.
didnt get my ironing done yesterday so must do that this morning, as well as top up the bird feeders and give them some water.
need some new covers for our living room sofa and arm chairs but the prices are ridiculous so going to look for material at the upholstery shop in town and try to make my own overthe weekend.... borrowed a sewing machine from my sister.
thats it really.
already done two online surveys this morning and checked my ebay sales - no bids as yet but i have 7 people watching each of the two items i am selling so hopefully theyll go.
MUST get off the pc now.

Hiya
Cold and sunny here - DS1 off to school in a massive sheepskin lined deerstalker hat cos he's desperate for the snowI picked lots of hats and gloves up last year in the sales and in a very organised way (unlike me
) put them in a big plastic storage crate last year so this year we can find hats, scarves, gloves when we need them. Ds's have so many to choose from now
Can get on with decorating dining room now as all the remaining furniture is stacked in the middle of the room. Will finish the prepping today and may even manage the glossing the afternoon when DS2 is at pre-school. It's only a 'quick lick' job as haven't the time or money to strip the yukky wallpaper and skim the walls. It will do until we replace the carpet cos I need a built-in cupboard removing anyway.
Lunch will be soup/toast and dinner will either be spag bol (one of 2 things DS2 will eat) or pizza (not DS2's other food) Depends on time when decorating cos they are Lidl pizzas in the freezer for such times.
Ok, shower then on with todays jobs. Keep warm and safe everyone.

PP - take your own foil or bags to the restaurant. They aren't allowed to give you left over food now, unless you say it IS for the dog and they still agree, so if you go prepared, then yours won't go to waste if you can't manage it0 -
Morning everyone!
Snow??!!! We rarely get snow here (Thames Valley - Slough). If we are lucky, we may get a half inch once every few years that melts within hours and freezes. I would so love to take the children out - sledging and that sort of thing. Just for a day.....
MW on - BM going on later, also for Pizza Dough!
Lovely post today! Got £120 E2save cashback - glasses from glassesdirect arrived (well pleased with them!), Lara's Elf costume from Ebay (I'm not a making kind of Mum!) and not a single piece of junk mail in sight!
Off for a late breakfast now. I get mine when the kids are ready and gone!
Hope everyone has a great day.0 -
Hi All :j
Having done nothing at work this week I thought I'd bring my own bits in to do.Tax return (yuk), sewing, various bits of paperwork etc. And I get paid for doing it!
Pleased as there's a problem with a cooker I bought 18 months ago so its out of warranty. I asked nicely and they're going to fix it for free anyway! Really pleased with that one!
Lost another 1lb today so I have officially broken my sticking point - usually get to this weight and give up. Celebrating with an apple
Hope you all have a lovely day - wrap up warm! No snow here but shivering cold.
