hello!
I was here a wee while ago as rainy days but I couldn't remember my password so have re-registered!
My money situation is awful as usual.
Also crashed the car the other day so need to find £270 excess.
Today I have done the school run & nothing else.
The house is a tip & my washing pile is breeding!
But I love this site esp this old style forum!

Afternoon all
Blowing a gale and rainy here today - good job there isn't enough in the washing basket to bother about.
Working today and no OS plans at all - 2 little one's are fast asleep and got a new family coming to look round in a bit. Been at a play session this morning - nice to have someone else to talk to and others to help tidy up!
Tea will be what ever I can do with a pack of mince in the 20 mins I'll get between school run, kids going home and party drop off.....I might just be able to brown it and shove it in the slow cooker with some onions and gravy and worry about it later. There's a few jacket spuds left from last night so they'll be utilised in some way - just not sure what DD is going to get to eat at the party and if she's going to need feeding later......bet it's ten ton of e numbers and crisps!
Off to in laws for the weekend - will be nice to kick back and not worry about the cooking for a couple of days, DD's will be entertained too so I might even manage a lie in!
Have a wonderful afternoon all. See you next week when I return!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I'm on my own in the office with nowt to do, and have spent ages on here looking through the mega index. I've learnt so much already!
Like, it always seemed more expensive to make homemade bread as the flour is 80-90p. I never knew I could use the value plain flour! And vinegar! And 'use up what's left in your cupboard' and 'how to make fish cakes' and loads of help with my Xmas cake.
It's like 'everything you should have learnt from your granny' in one place! (Meant in the kindest possible way......:rotfl:
This is BRILLIANT!!!!!!
Thank you!!!
