Thanks for the welcome. I am a big Rik Mayall fan, and this was one of his catch phrases when he played Ritchie in Bottom.
  • Well, I set myself the task of tidying my daughters bedroom with her (she's five) and ringing my stepmother.

I kind of did my daughters bedroom - did the clothes/videos/books and put toys away - we agreed to actually sort out the toys tomorrow after school.

I did ring my stepmother and was very pleased as I was calling her to let her know my boyfriends band are playing tomorrow night and that she could come with me and my daughter - she said she had already had a call from her sister who had seen it in the paper and that they were all going. So very much looking forward to tomorrow night - and so is my daughter (she is a complete rock chick!).

I also found the flylady website and have been working on my 'control journal' and zones etc. Feel quite good about it at the moment but there is a fairly good chance that it will all go to pot within a week or so!

For now I will feel pleased with myself and think about what tasks I can set myself for tomorrow - apart from not getting too drunk tomorrow night!
  • Very late posting tonight! Evening everyone :hello:

Had a busy day at work & an even busier evening. Went to Governor's meeting at my son's school & only got back at 9.30pm!!!!

Not too much done today (other than being a taxi service, going to work, refereing fights between my 2 DS:mad: & dealing with DS1 who had to stay behind after school for playing up in a sports lesson!)

Managed to do 1 load of washing (yet to get out of machine!) and have ironed uniform for DS1 for tomorrow. Cooked tea.....and that's about it!

Am going on a diet (well...cutting out the c**p!) Although I've not put on any weight - my clothes are beginning to feel tight & I don't really know why!!!

Have a 'team building' day tomorrow with work - what fun!!!!!

Hope everyone has a good evening!

:hello: Morning Welshcake - hope you enjoy your Christmas shopping :D

CQ!!! Delighted you are posting again :j :j

Today is "returns" day - have some items which need 'returning' I really need a new winter coat (my one was stolen out of my car earlier in the year) so while I'm in town I shall check out the Charity Shops and see if they have anything suitable.

    B: Porridge
    L: rolls
    D: SC pork casserole

Need to provide d10yo with a "contribution" to the school Christmas Fayre today, so a rummage through the gift box shortly is in order. :o

Hope everyone who has been unwell/run down is perking up a bit now.

    Enjoy your Friday OS'ers

PS: Rememberance Day - 2 minute forum silence? don't know if this is going to happen on MSE or not but I notice the question has been asked, so if you *should* find that you can't post on the forums, you'll know why ;)

Very unsettled night, but keep getting very upset about our westie going tomorrow. I know its for the best but feel like im betraying him and letting him down. Really dont want him to go but know its for the best. Will he pine for us? Will he remember us? It sounds stupid but I feel like Im letting one of my kids go  Im really not coping very well. Just so frustrated thats its another thing I have to loose because im ill.

Lupus & FMS have been bad this week too and can just about move but have had this nasty bug thing on top.

Anyways, have a washload in WM, DW not full yet. Cleaner is here today so dont need to do anything.

DD has been off school all week with this bug and OH has had it too, but has gone to his chest.

    Better go.
