MATH - you're definately a diamond
I had a couple pf bad hours back there. Stood standing (as we northerners are prone to doing) in my kitchen, surveying the shopping to be put away, cleaning to be done and musing on the dire state of my bank account when I was overcome with floods of tears re my dad. No idea where it came from, but come they did. Poor little DS2 didn't know what the matter was, so consoled me by proving he could go to the loo on his own, as long as I gave him Jammie DodgersAt least that made me smile.
Anyway, coffee with Lidl's 'Baileys' in it and I feel better. Now got a smile on my face and have tackled some cleaning. Dad would have given me a hug then told me to get on with it, which is what I have done. So, Math's post was my little 'hug'
At least you'll have a clean garage floor, Math, and sweetly scented of Alpine meadows or whatever 'chemical concoction' Lenor have twisted your arm to buy currently0 -

... good luck at the hospital *hugs*
It makes me sick that i have injured myself while i was fighting off this pervert who wanted some action. If the hospital 100% confirm its broke im going to speak to the night club and get the video tapes and see my friend who is a solicitor. Figh fire with fire. Plenty of witnesses.0 -
was only lurking but MATHS posts yesterday and today made me laugh.
I cant understand why we pay plumbers etc to come into our homes and do jobs for us, so technically we're the boss right? But from the minute they arrive they are in charge, and we rush round like lackeys making tea and trying to be invisible in our own homes!
Lots of hugs for Moggins and TM, good luck at the hospital Ancasta, and good on yer for kneeing the creep! That made me laugh too (but not about your hand), but cant post at work so had to wait til I got home.
Right off to fetch DD's and then home to some OS ironing. Tea tonight is pasta and salmon, and crumble (apricot) yum.0 -

Oh, if you've got it on tape/witnesses, then you'll be able to prove what happened. Good for you - go for it, I say.0 -

OMG!!!!!! More good news!! DH has just been formally offered the job he applied for (a relief position running alongside his current job) which means any overtime he does in this position gets paid at a much higher rate and he can sleep in instead of having to stay awake all night.
And his overtime sheet went in yesterday just in time to catch the November pay so we will be getting an extra £500 (before tax) at the end of the month!!Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Yah - all round to Moggins' for Xmas then0
