Been at work all day today, running around like crazy but it's all money towards the rent - and got free lunch as there was a group in today for a meeting too
Doing pretty good with washing, nearly up to date now - dinner just chicken bits and chips/waffles with Salad so easy for OH to pop in the oven etc.
Need to do a job application this evening and update my CV etc and have an early night so I can get up and get into work a bit earlier tomorrow.
Happy Birthday Scuzz

Hello all,
I've just finshed my CV and job application, keep your fingers crossed, same money for less hours and its in the same school my kids go to so no more childcare headaches.
I made a lovely stew in the SC todayand forgot to add the liquidOH added water and boiled it hard for a few minutes and it was fine though :T bit of a lucky escape - I was afraid it might blow up or something.
I want to make Banoffee pie tomorrow - do you know if you can leave a tin of condensed milk in the SC to make the sauce?
See you all tomorrow

Evening all,
Bit late logging in today. Been at a training session all day - what a waste of time that was!   The trainers contradicted themselves every 10 seconds and recoiled in horror when I asked questions that were obviously far to deep for them to answer....grrrrrrrrrr, and to think I had to take a day off to attend the sodding thing!
Got home about 4.30pm, Mother had picked DD's up for me, she then started to moan about the state of my bedroom, the amount of ironing (it wasn't actually ironing but clean washing waiting to be put away) and then decided that my larder was a mess and proceeded to empty it, wash it out and reorganise it (I wouldn't mind but I only did it about 2 weeks ago) I let her get on with it and made up a curried chicken quiche with wedges and green beans for tea and stuck the makings of a chicken curry in the SC for Wednesday night (hubby has since told me he doesn't like the way I like curry)
Anyway - washings all put away - ironing is all done and put away, DW is swishing, washing machine washing and some wet stuff on airers as we're out all day tomorrow so it won't get in the way.
I'm off to do some incredibly OS telly watching with a very OS attitude of "sit in the dark with no heating on" to save money!

Started a London Underground survey at 7am, then I had to do some different surveys and got home at about 9pm this evening.
At lunch, as planned, I treated myself to an upmarket sandwich and coffee and spent £4.75
Then, about two hours later, I...
found a fiver in the street!

Hi All!
I'm off to bed in a minute but thought Id have a catch up on here before I went.
Have had a mad day. Loads of washing and tumbling, cleaned and vacced the house from top to bottom. Sorted out all my Xmas pressies, made a list of what I have, what I need to get etc, found the Christmas cards and paper, put pressies in an accesible place ready to be wrapped. Felt very relieved - I had more than I thought as have been stockpiling pressies since May. DD's have a party each to go to at the weekend, already had pressies and cards for those. Done loads of ironing. Off to bed now,
Night night!0 -
