OGM CQ, how angry must you be. Tescos are t****rs.

You want to kick up merry hell on the phone love and tell them you want it delivered free, with a hefty discount AND a full refund of the vouchers you used.

DONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.

Tell em you are housebound and rely on their company to live up to expectation / promises. The very least they could have done was phone you to explain. They do have our phone numbers cause they have called me before now.

Let us know how you get on.

Not only that, but I used up all my clubcard vouchers, around £30 in total (was a big monthly shop) and becuase the website is registering my order as "delivered" I can't re-use them on another order!!!
    Hi CQ
That's awful, have you phoned and made a complaint? Written letter to head office? emailed and complained? Hourly???!!!!
They may even give more vouchers than you already had! Well, they ought to!

The woman on the phone just kept parroting the same things over and over ... "Sorry there's nothing we can do" etc and when I suggested they send my shopping via taxi she said it was against health and safety because taxi's don't have chiller compartments, yet the store is only 15-20 mins away and it's almost sub-zero temps out there anyway!!!

The only "compensation" she offered for my "inconvenience" was to offer free delivery on Saturday!!!!

I forgot all about the vouchers until I'd got off the phone. I was so upset I ended up hanging up on her as I was struggling to hold back the tears :(

I can't even have one reasonably good day without something going bloody wrong

If all else fails CQ, try the letter writing/email route.

I too often end up so damn frustraed and angry that I dont know what to say or do except cry. It annoys me something cronic because once I've hung up my headis FULL of comebacks and things I ought to have said.

A strongly worded letter will make you feel better and will mean they have hard copy evidence of your dissapointment in them. It gives you a chance to draft it and come up with one that says all you want it to.

Tell them you are housebound and relied on them - there is no food in the house and you intend to contact Trading Standards or/and Watchdog.

You are shocked at their lack of responsibility to their customers and their refusal to abide to their contract with you.

    Etc etc!!!!

Things still seem tense at work - so still keeping my head down - went to see the vicar and church for our wedding today at lunchtime so happy about all that - starting to come together nicely now :j

Just had some pizza for dinner (not homemade I'm afraid :o ) but OH has been at home for most the day so has put the washing I put on this morning on the airer and has done the rest of the washing up that we'd got a bit behind with so that's good :)

We're just off to tescos cos I want to get some pyjamas, couldn't get to them at the weekend, and need some milk as OH has been drinking lots of coffee being at home and a few other bits.

    Hi everyone

CQ - a strongly worded e-mail is definitely in order. You can say that you didn't think that their "customer service representative" was duly worried about your lack of food in the house, due to the factors previously mentioned. I hope you get it sorted.

Stressful children in school today. Oh, and I've got a mother coming to see me tomorrow with her little cherub. We've got parent consultations next week, but this one can't make it. Her little cherub is one of the worst in the class, but she just doesn't see it. How am I going to be diplomatic, tell her that her son is a little sod and if he doesn't decide to knuckle down and work then his SATS will not be the foregone conclusion that he currently thinks they will be? He's a bright boy, but even bright children need to work.

We had pasta with a homemade veggie sauce - a la the one that I made at the weekend. Very yummy, and obviously very healthy. Washed down with a glass of red wine - which is now making me feel sleepy :D

I've got a bit more work to do before I turn in for the night, so I'd better say goodbye for now.
