Nope - you'll need a full head of silvery locks for that one. However, if you can manage to dazzle us with your pearly whites cemented into your receeding gums with a half tube of wundaweb, or polyfilla or whatever wrinklies use on their national health plastic gnashers, then we may be able to offer you a position.
Also required - the innate ability to recite the following phrases many times a day :
"in my day we did it like this"
"I still feel 17 inside"
"Eeee, I don't like these modern fangled things you know"
"I wouldn't have been able to speak to my elders like that, ya know"
(Then again, you'll start sounding like my granny, so I won't be able to interview you)

It would appear that ikea arent very good with physics - my glass doors are too heavy for the frame and it topples forward every time I open the doors, which isnt that great! I shall be complaining today - dont they realise that most people have carpets and not hard floors????
It seems that me may have the same wardrobe! Did you get a pack of plugs with it? Our has been archored to the wall (not an easy thing to do if you have skirting boards!) This is the only way to make it safe enough in my case. Hope this helps.0 -

Dont forget as well Jo that once you fill it with clothes (and lots and lots of lovely shoes  ) it'll be much more stable, as the weight inside will counteract the weight of the doors - although it's still a very good idea to anchor it to the wall, provided they're nice and solid!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -

OMG my sodding new (replacement) BM is sodding well broken
Does not switch on, have tried different sockets and replacement fuses to no avail and am royaly peeved
Honestly, whats the point of owning a £100 machine if it never sodding well works
So,another trip to Argos for me then, just what I need in the pre xmas shopping frenzy.
The carrot cake (BM recipie) hasnow been mixed by hand and is in the oven in the vain hope that it will turn out OK. If not I'll just smother it in cream cheese icing and all will be well.
Off to wrap pressies now for DH birthday tomorrow.

I'm absolutely fuming!!!!!
I was expecting a delivery from Tesco this afternoon and when it got to be half an hour late I called them, only to be told it wasn't coming because their van had broken down!!! :wall:
The next available slot isn't until Saturday, which is absolutely no good to me as there was stuff I wanted for dinner tonight, plus the fridge is absolutely empty of perishables which we desparately need (not to mention my baccy which DS is too young to go out and buy for me) and he's not well enough to be going out in the cold and dark to the shops anyway!
Not only that, but I used up all my clubcard vouchers, around £30 in total (was a big monthly shop) and becuase the website is registering my order as "delivered" I can't re-use them on another order!!!
Cover your ears everyone cos I'm gonna SCREEEEEEEAAAAAM!!!

I'm finally getting my kitchen sorted out. My cupboards have been taken down and new ones put up today. Monday my new oven gets delivered and on tuesday its being fitted. So at last I can get rid of that oven that has been in this house since the 1960's.
