Hiya
I've just started reviewing on Dooyoo and somehow I've had 9 reviews in the last few minutes. How do they know I've written something that fast. Am I missing something.
I have a section called Visitors in my account that shows me who has looked at my stuff, are you suppose to look at their stuff in turn.
TIA0 -

I'm sure I'm just being really thick tonight, but I'm not sure what you mean here. Did someone say you've written something too fast?Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
creaker- it's up to you if you want to read their reviews. I personally tend to return all rates that I recieve but that's because I spend a lot of time on the website and I can read those and the ones that I'm interested in.
As long as you rate some reviews it doesn't matter if it's the ones that have rated yours or not as long as you actually participate in the website and rate as well as review.0 -

All the new reviews are listed on the 'New Reviews' page and a lot of people will rate all the reviews that show up on there so that's how people know that you've written something.
The etiquette of returning rates and reads is up for debate but the general consensus is that you do need to read (and most importantly rate) other people's reviews as well as write. Personally, I'd suggest rating those people who have rated your first reviews, at least to start with, as they have taken the trouble to rate yours. You also get additional dooyoo miles for every member reading that you get so it is in your interests to get involved in rating other people's work and becoming a real part of the community.
Good luck - Dooyoo is really addictive. I haven't had the time to write any new reviews as I've had visitors and my husband on leave for half term and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!0 -
I just wrote a 2700 word review and in less than a minute someone had rated it very useful- must be a very fast reader.0

I think they're trying to avoid this on Ciao by having a minimum time before you can rate. Even that has problems, I read a couple of reviews yesterday that were so short I had read them 3 times before Ciao allowed me to rate :rolleyes:Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

I am genuinely a fast reader and I touch type so I write my reviews quickly too! I do always read the reviews that I write, which is why I tend to avoid computer games reviews and most DVD reviews as I'm just not interested in those topics.
I haven't given Ciao a try yet. I used to do their surveys for years until they reduced their payments to next to nothing! :rolleyes:0 -
Iv got to admit, im not impressed with Dooyoo.
Iv been using it for about 2 months now. Iv written 30 reviews during the 2 months. All my reviews are over the 150 word count. My reviews have all got good ratings, Iv never had a not useful rating.
Iv earned just over 20000 miles. I tried to redeem 10000 of them and received an email saying my Amazon voucher was on its way. I waited 2 weeks and never received it so I emailed Dooyoo to let them know and got an email back saying Im not allowed the voucher because my reviews are good enough! They pointed out my first review was only just over 150 words. It still has all the details and opinions required for a review. Its not bad enough for them to lock it though.
I feel abit cheated after earning over 20000 miles yet I cant redeem 10000!
Plus it still says 10000 miles cashed in on my account page0 -

I'm not surprised if you write on there how you write on here.
As I understand it you have to have 150 words of opinion to claim it so if half of your review is details then it probably doesn't meet the criteria.
I haven't read your reviews so I can't say for sure but I strongly suspect that dooyoo made the right call, why should they pay for reviews that aren't good enough?0
