Must admit I noticed the spamming but didnt think to report it at the time, one day I'll get to the end of my alerts list lol,

I just had my first revenge rating! After reporting it I noticed the person who revenge rated me had copied a review from someone else so I reported them for that too.

The person I reported last week was dealt with...not sure if they got banned but the offending review got deleted. It took a couple of days but dooyoo did look into it. My faith is restored!

I just got my first Crown today! I am well chuffed, particularly as it was awarded for my third review. I only joined Dooyoo on Sunday! Thank you to all of you on this thread (particularly Camp Freddy, MattyGroves and cmh3145) who post really helpful Dooyoo tips. My Dooyoo user name is deelot BTW!

I think the account must have been hacked - old reviews have been edited with the Ronaldo stuff.

I feel sorry for the genuine owner of that account.

Hi All,

A few days ago I redeemed the 50,000 miles I had earnt for £50 it said it had all gone through and to expect a cheque within 10 days.

However earlier today I recieved an email to say a few of my reviews are below the premium reviews and so are locked and need to be edited to make them more useful.

Does this mean I now wont recieve the £50 and secondly how do I go about finding out which reviews are locked and need to be edited, and finally once I have done that how do I then re-submit them to get the £50?

Hi.

No, you won't receive the cheque. You can go to your profile - locked reviews do have a little icon next to them. You'll then need to email or PM the dooyoo team (or a guide - there are a few here on MSE including me, cmh and others), and the dooyoo team will reconsider the reviews.

At the time of redemption, the dooyoo team check to make sure the reviews meet the minimum word limit of 150 words of opinion (so track lists, instructions and ingredients, for example, don't count).

Realistically, most good reviews will be aroung 400 words up (though there are, of course, exceptions - who wants to read 500 words on a Mars bar!). The work should be all your own (with any quotes properly attributed), and should have a minimum decent standard of spelling and grammar (not English Language A level standard, necessarily, but understandable, and not run through a translator, which we do see!)
