I've just had the renewal through for my dog from M&S, It has gone up from £149 to £263.88:eek: plus they no longer pay for hydrotherapy unless it's before or after an operation and they will no longer pay for her specialist food:eek: The problem is I can't change insurers as she has a pre-existing condition.
    Tesco: £1361.19, Vanquis: £2644.73, Very: £563.08, Next: £1636.95, M&S: £1049.92. As of 5th February 2024. Slava Ukraini
  • does anyone know which insurance companies include 3rd party pet insurance as part of their contents insurance.
The pet ID club includes 3rd party insurance up to 2million with a £15 membership but I have 4 dogs and wondered if I would be better off switching my home contents insurance to a company that included 3rd party pet insurance, I am assuming that the 3rd party pet on the contents includes things like a traffic accident etc?
any help appreciated if someone is in a similar situation

  • M&S for our Bengal; £700 of treatment in the first year of his policy, no excess and M&S paid up without a quibble.

I've just had my renewal through, M&S are stopping no excess policy's, looks like I'm moving

Insured both my dogs under one policy with Tesco. The only problem you have to read the renewal really carefully as they keep altering information on there.

IE.... My first dog cost me £30 from a rescue centre and she is just over 5
    years old now.

My second dog cost me nothing as we rescued him from a house and he
is just over 4 years old now.

Tesco have put the cost paid for each animal as £70. I have told Tesco each year this is incorrect but they still put the information on there. I am considering cancelling the pet insurance as I dont think it is value for money and neither of them are pedigrees

Don't forget that once you make a claim you can't easily switch. (Any future claims for that problem will be excluded under 'pre-existing conditions').
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

Before anyone hands money over to this company, I'd recommend they google 'reviews of E&L' and see what experiences other people have had with them. E&L are the underwriters for animal friends.

Hello, I am new to this section, so please be gentle with me.

Ok, I am trying to organise insurance for my two cats Arthur and Jimmy.

Arthur is 3 years old and Jimmy is 1 years old.

I am looking for a lifetime plan that wont increase year on year if the cats get ill.

I have tried the comparison websites, but to be honest, the different options are all too confusing.

    Can anyone help?

    Dave
