  • Last year I found £40 in notes alone, and have already found a £10 note this year. People are so clumsy sometimes.:D

You must be one of those lucky ones. I once found an Irish £20 which I exchanged for about £16, which was fairly good, but that was years ago - nothing since!! :( (And I have been looking!! ;) )

A couple of years ago I thought I was being clever by collecting the reciepts of the floor and adding them to my club card. I had a letter & phone call from Tesco saying I was being investigated for clubcard fraud:rotfl: :o and If they continued to see such activity on my account they would close my account with them ect ect.
One of the things you should watch for is if the reciept you have picked up has been paid for by credit or bank cards, cause then they know its not yours

It is called wombling and I do it but I then share the receipts between OH, DD AND me and we all put them on different cards. I usually only pick up small ones from the self service till and add them at 2 different stores. I have just taught OH how to do it but he is a bit too obvious and keeps wanting to put his hand in the waste paper bin at the self service tills. If you do womble just be careful you are careful not to be seen. Although this evening I was in my store and the security guard and about 5 staff were watching a couple of kids up to something and meanwhile the 2 most famous shoplifters in our town walked in and went about their business. Why dont Tesco bring back extra points on an item so we can all buy loads of Talc, Bananas or Toiletries again!!!!

we recycled 198 cans and bottles (glass and plastic) and only received 15 points, phoned CS and they said they would add points and aploogised, bt upto now points haven't gone on. Phoned Thurs pm. Hope they go on or i'll not be doing it again

tescos have changed the recycling points you now only get 1 point per two cans recycled, you don't get points anymore for recycling glass and plastic.

I noticed this last time i went to the recycling machine and there were a lot of unhappy customers moaning about it

I sent some ink cartridges in the recycling envelopes a few weeks ago.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the points to show up on till receipts, or do you have to wait for the CLubcard statement?

You don't have to wait for the clubcard statement; they show up on the till receipts. I think mine took about a month to go on.

I once sent in enough cartridges to total about £35 worth of points and they never added them to my account!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
