Just to let u all know. I have had confirmation from Tescos & I quote 'that due to clubcard customers cutting up plastics to boost clubcard rewards they are now only offering green points for alluminum cans 2 cans = 1 point' Whislt you can still recycle the other items there will not be green clubcard points awarded for the other items.
No point doing it now, I don't drink many cans and I can recycle everything at the doorstep!!!
hi can anyone please tell me which tesco stores do this i would love to do this have some many bottles and cans etc:confused:

Hi everyone. My mum gave me her tesco vouchers for Christmas so OH and I can have a holiday. Can anyone reccomend which of the companies I should go for, as apparently some won't you use tesco vouchers on certain deals. Thank you

Depends what you want - check out http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294967232&bid=HHolidays
I've just booked with UKBOATHIRE as I am not going to Europe due to rubbish Euro exchange rate and they give you full rate of deals unlike some companies where you have a 'special' Tesco rate
Cosmos have a big selection if you want to go further afield. I used them for Paris but you can't seem to do that anymore.
There's Cruises or Virgin or if you haven't got that much in deals, Pontins or Siblu (Haven)

For weekend breaks check out: http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294965955&bid=HPlacesToStay
I also use Hilton which has been really good for London, York, etc.
Some of the old English Inns are lovely and I've also used Ramada Jarvis.
I'm told by a friend that always uses them that Marriott are good too.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

The offers I've seen previously have been 12 wks, so depends if you were going to join anyway. Prob. not worth it just to get points. HTH
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
  • I am trying to work out a way to get kids to euro disney over next few months. I have 600 pounds worth of points. Does anyone have an idea if any good deals via tesco? I heard they did not do the actual disney holidays direct but it might be possible to book with french life just wondered if any one else has done this lately. Thanks
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

We went with Siblu (La Croix du Vieux Pont, I think). You can pay for the holiday park, but not for the Eurodisney tickets. The park does coach trips to Eurodisney and Paris on alternate days.

As someone who was married to an alcoholic to 27 years I can tell you they only usually spend about £10-00 to £15.00 per time. They were obviously having a party. Please enjoy your womble ( in my Tescos they actually search the trollies so you never get any!!) but remember how awful life can be for alcoholics and their families.

I found a £20 note in a basket at Tesco last year once. Seriously. :D
