It is a card that you put money on and when you spend it in Tesco you get double points. You are supposed to set up a standing order for your monthly spend in Tesco then get double points as you spend. However you can just set up a standing order for about £5.00 per month and then just pay in cash at customer services before you shop and then spend straight away and get points. You call the Clubcard phone number and ask for an application form. It is a bit fiddly and takes a few weeks but is well worth it. You can use it online and for fuel also.
  • I found a £20 note in a basket at Tesco last year once. Seriously. :D

Hope you spent it in Lidl! :D

Probably, if you're going to get full value out of them. Remember £25 increase is only £6.25 in vouchers per head.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • Anyone know how many points I'm getting on my mobile top ups and home phone? For a while it was 4 points per £1 for the mobile but I think this has changed? I have no idea what I get on my home phone! I hope it's worthwhile though!

    Thanks

    Kate :)

Just checked and found this: You earn 1 clubcard point for every £1 you spend with Tesco home phone. They have changed the tariff for Pay as You Go on Tesco Mobile and you now earn 30 clubcard point for every £10 you spend on a top-up.

  • Thank you veery much :) Definitely worth having then! Does anyone know if I would get extra points if I top up using clubcard plus? Thanks :)

Haha, no, I just did my usual routine of hunting for yellow stickers and relevant BOGOFs/deals, treated myself to 2 bottles of Kopparberg cider, and still had more than £10 left so I saved that.

Last year I found £40 in notes alone, and have already found a £10 note this year. People are so clumsy sometimes.:D
