got mine on monday, but very little extra coupons and only money off on things i don't really buy.
I haven't seen an extra point coupon in ages now, no till spits anymore and i don't get points for my recycling as well.
Come on Tesco whats going on

I got a till spit yesterday for 80p off Always Ultra! It's the only till spits I ever get, and they always come at the right time  I don't buy them though so I don't know why they keep giving them to me!
  • Contacted Tesco and asked them if 2 vouchers each worth £7 which were due to expire Feb 09 could be extended. They have contacted me saying they are valid until Jul 09 and I should use them before that date.
I was saving my vouchers to put towards something big but will probably now have to spend them on bits & pieces so I dont lose out.

    Any advice?
  • Just to let you all know that I ordered a deal on-line on Monday and used an expired voucher (Nov 08) and it went through fine and I got my deal vouchers through the post today.

So if you've got expired vouchers for any reason then it's worth trying them on the website.

    You could try http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/faq/

    Using Clubcard Deals Tokens

Can my Clubcard Deals Tokens be refunded? Unused and in date Deals Tokens can be returned to us for a Clubcard Points refund.

Buy some deal tokens. Send them back within 6 months and have the points credited back to your account. They should be re-issued at the next cut-off with a full 2 years on them again.

New deals booklet arrived today. (Feb 2009- May 2009)
code p6000 Annual Pass for one person £37.50
which is the same as the current on-line price

Price if you buy direct from Merlin is £150 individual,£385 family, £10 disabled(with complimentary carer pass)
or £100 and £300 for renewals.

I dithered too long, and now the website prices have gone up as expected.

I assume the disabled pass is £150, not a tenner :D Worth noting though if you do have a disabled person in the family that the carer pass has the photo of the disabled person, so it can be used by anyone (they have to be with the disabled person presumably). My sis has one, and uses her carer pass for anyone who's going who doesn't have a ticket.

If you changed the minimum value (£2.50?) on each voucher (on separate orders), the remaining £4.50 on each voucher will be credited back to your account and you will get that £9 in next quarters mailings, and valid for another 2 years.
Not perfect, but at least you wouldn't need to spend the whole £14.

tescos have changed the recycling points you now only get 1 point per two cans recycled, you don't get points anymore for recycling glass and plastic.

I noticed this last time i went to the recycling machine and there were a lot of unhappy customers moaning about it
My mum had been recycling at the Southend Extra store and was not seeing any clubcard points being added. She went to the instore CS and they said that they had stopped doing it due to 'company abuse'
Is this just the Southend branch or all Tesco's?
I would gladly save up all the recycling and wait till I am driving past a branch that does accept them for CC points.
I am desperate to save up for a flight to the US.
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

AFAIK, all stores with recycling machines now only give 1 point per 2 aluminium cans and nothing else.

    Ours too.

If anyone rents films from lovefilm you can tesco points by using the tesco service instead - it's the same company, but not as good because they don't let you have separate lists for each family member.

I'm going to look at energy companies when martin says switch too, see if whichever company gives clubcard points is worth a go.
