Hi. What does "w/wide annual tvl ins ccp" mean??
I am off to tesco now to have a go at that, and am also out of beer for the weekend so a great excuse really? But not sure if you meant you purchased it with a normal clubcard, clubcard credit card or a clubcard plus card?
can you please confirm? Cheers!
Suppose I will have to drown my sorrows now!0 -
I have about 3000 airmiles on my tesco card as this seemed to be the best way to save - trouble is I live in NE Scotland and all the good deals on airmiles seem to be if you fly from London. Tried booking trip for family to Spain last summer and the excess I would have had to pay on top of my airmiles was actually more than a special deal I could get using no airmiles at all!!
If necessary, can anyone tell me if I can simply convert all my airmiles back to tesco vouchers again or am I now stuck with them?
Thanks

The conversion from points to airmiles is non-reverseable I'm afraid0 -

Darn! Thanks for info though.
I presume I could tell tesco to stop putting my points onto my airmiles from now on though? Don't really shop there often as I find Asda better value but do go now and then and always try to get extra points via here when I do.0 -
Alternatively, how much do they tend to sell for on Ebay? I have heard some people sell them there but would not know where to begin0

Today I went to Tesco in Milton Keynes and bought 2 lots of 12x440ml Magners cans and got a bonus 1000 clubcard points. This happened last Thursday too (same purchase). Has anyone else had this? The bonus is w/wide annual tvl ins ccp. So that means I've had 2035 points for a spend of £35!
Do you live there?0 -

Clubcard plus is an in house credit card on which you pay a monthly sum and then get double points .You can only use it in Tesco ( and online). In return Tesco will send you vouchers which have a couple of years expiry date. ( not unlimited).

As someone else has already posted, they are non-reversable, but don't forget you can use them for hotels too, I know it's not quite as good, but better than writing them off or trying to flog em on Ebay. Not quite sure you could do this anyway, any more - it's not like they're in a paper format you could sell - it's all electronic on your airmiles account - otherwise I might have made you an offer!0 -

Hi Katy
I also save Airmiles and I live in Edinburgh. I have used mine for short trips to London and Paris as there are direct flights from Edinburgh. Flying to most other places inc a connection and that works out expensive. Airmiles now include all taxes - in the past you had to pay extra for these. I hope you find something to spend them on.I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!
