Buy branded ones only and look out for expiry dates - if they're not shown, then ask. I take it you mean new ones and not ones for recycling?

Yes branded but also check the list on
    http://www.tesco.com/greenerliving/what_we_are_doing/recycling_waste/printer_table.page?
as not all cartridges attract points.

on saying that. with recycling the mobile phones, is it only 5 per person per year or, 5 per household per year.

reason im asking is that i have already sent 5 off this year, but my partner who lives with me has not sent any, and i was wondering if she could send 5 off as well, or is it just 5 per household???

For phones it is 5 per card per year or 10 for joint card (checked with tesco) but for inkjet cartridges 30 per household per year. Also if you buy the old 500/100 point phone envelopes on e-bay tesco are supposed to honour them but I have had mixed results i.e. sometimes 500/100 & sometimes 300/50. If you don't have old phones try your local boot sale. Normally we find about 33% work and you can pick them up for about £1 each.
  • Hello,

I can see earlier posts relating to the current Tesco Savings Account bonus points, but can anyone tell me if you previously opened an account earlier in the year (and then closed it) to qualify for earlier offer will you be eligible again for points this time round?

    All comments gratefully received?

    Kind regards,

    Emily

The Recycling Factory working in partnership with Tesco would like to announce changes to their Ink Cartridge Recycling Scheme. Commencing 1st November 2008 a revised list of cartridges accepted under the recycling scheme will be active. Any items that were previously accepted and do not appear on the revised list will no longer be processed for Clubcard points or donations to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

If you would like to receive a copy of this listing please place a request via the following email:

    Hi Folks

I have been reading this thread...........and the one before! Lol but am still a little confused! I have a few questions that I hope you can help with regarding the Tesco Clubcard Plus. Ok.......here goes -

    1. Do I need a credit check for this? I dont want an overdraft facility.
    2. Can I set up a direct debit for say as little as £5 per month?
    3. In addition to this can I make 'top-ups' at customer services?
    4. How do I save my points? Are vouchers not automatically sent out every so often?

Sorry for all the questions! Any advice would be greatly appreciated
