on saying that. with recycling the mobile phones, is it only 5 per person per year or, 5 per household per year.
reason im asking is that i have already sent 5 off this year, but my partner who lives with me has not sent any, and i was wondering if she could send 5 off as well, or is it just 5 per household???0 -

You can just hand your card over as a regular clubcard and still get the double points.0 -
I`ve just got into the idea of picking up receipts that have uncollected points on them. I`ve noticed that when I reclaim the points, sometimes the staff scrawl through the bar code with a pen to presumably stop you from using the receipt again.
What happens if they just hand you the receipt back, can you use it again, or is there someway that Tesco know you have reclaimed the points on the receipt?
If you scan the receipt again it comes up the points were redeamed at a store0 -

But what do I know, I only work there and know the scheme
Oh well.0 -
Ive been noticing they have been giving the double points recently, on people using the clubcard as a regular clubcard.

Oh well.
So I dont have to put money on to my cc+ card then to get double points then? Will have to try that one then!0 -

Really? I hadn't noticed that! But will look out for it in future. I thought the CC+ needed to be scanned twice for payment and double points.....
Sorry if you took offence, I don't work there and only thought I knew the scheme:rolleyes:

That's strange, the website says this:
"The more you use it, the more you get back! - If you pay with your Clubcard Credit Card at Tesco or Tesco.com, you'll get 5 points for every £4 spent!"
http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/finance/creditcards/clubcc/index.jsp
And I do think that's how it works, otherwise they are giving away points for nothing (which is not something Tescos are doing at the moment!!). If you pay on their credit card, they could make some money if you pay interest rather than clearing balance in full. If you pay in cash / other card, they would have nothing to gain through offering you extra points.
I love my tesco CC, it's the best! I always pay on it for the extra points, and it's 0% til Feb so will pay it all off then.0 -
So if me(Allen) and my partner(Jones) want to book a holiday, we have to book them seperatley??
Or do we just have to claim the deals seperatley and book an holiday together using our combined deals?
Sorry, my mistake! it was this thread I had read, but obviously not properly - derr!
Sorry if I worried you with my incorrect info. I'm glad it came up though, because I've learnt something new!I don't think I can hang on til Friday...0 -
Just a word of warning - I have purchased ink cartridges from ebay in the past and sent them to the Tesco Recycling Scheme but have not had points added. When I queried this they told me that the ink cartridges I sent in were mostly faulty or failed their testing system so I was in effect out of pocket. I have had this on a few occasions with different sellers and have now stopped buying from ebay sellers. It's just a gamble you take.
I want to buy some cartridges from Ebay. Any recommendations?0
