I doubt that you would get the points. I've just closed my account and plan to reopen again in a few weeks time to qualify for the points.
Do Tesco not object to someone closing their savings account and then reopening another to get the points? I thought of doing that myself but wasn't sure if they would allow me to do it.

Just out of interest....WHY only use if they've paid in cash / how does it 'risk your points'?
Forgive me for butting in on your thread, but I may know why you should only use the points that have paid in cash.
It is probably because tesco will be able to trace the points back to the cardholder (bankcard holder) and see that the points were not credited to their clubcard. When the customer uses cash, the points are untraceable.
Considering their enormous wealth, Tesco are very tight on where their points go.
Hope this helps.0 -

Otherway around, the card used to pay is stolen and then traced back to you though you adding points. You get arrested for theft and fraud.
Would imagine tescos could pull up all payment cards used on your accounts as well.
Plus they dont like it when you get too many added manually and have been known to cancel accounts because of this"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Just got my latest mailing from baby and toddler club. Very annoyed to see they are giving money off coupons now rather than bonus clubcard points. This means, if you normally, convert points into deals, you are considerably worse off. Called them up and they didn't know whether this would be a permanent change or not. It seems that in last few months Tescos have really been cutting back on bonus clubcard points. For instance the recycling points now only give points for drinks cans, there have been no deals like the bonus 100 points for 2 J&J products. The only it would seem you can get points now is to spend a lot of money in store.0

Hi, i have 5 clubcards registered to my address on for me,wife, 2 sons and my mum under one address. Can i send in 30 ink cartridges for each person that holds a clubcard at my address? So in total i will be sending in 150 catridges. Is that ok or is there a limit to only 30 per household no matter how many people are registered with tesco and live their?
Thanks for any help

Is it the case that if you have more than one clubcard registered, you get quarterly mailings for each? I have a Clubcard and a Clubcard Plus AND a few ancient Clubcards all registered. My impression is that they all get linked and you only get ONE mailing. But I love to be told otherwise, if it means that I get duplicated mailiings!
Anyone know for sure?0 -
Hi,
Not sure if I'm on the correct forum but I have just exchanged some vouchers on "Tesco Double Up" to buy some wine (first time). I'll have £80 to spend, are there any coupon codes I can use to boost my points or free delivery codes available please.
Thanks
