    Hi,

Am new to this. Have been reading through lots of pages, but still cannot make sense of it all.

I have a normal clubcard and need to boost my points balance. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

Hi - I have received a letter from e-on saying that they are no longer operating the tesco clubcard points scheme. One less place for me to collect my points from then!

Did they give a date as to when this is stopping?
They are still advertising this on their website, so would be mis-selling if this is case in my opinion.

Btw I also just switched to them and was hoping on the points, but not had the letter as of yet.

I had my joining up details last week - and it said I would be receiving them:confused:
  • Just phoned E-on and they told me that they are still definitely still operating Tesco Clubcard Scheme other than the specific tariffs that they mention on their website.
  • hi, after reading this thread i have not got a clubcard plus, what im wondering is, can i deposit cash on to the card at customer services still and how long does it normally take for the money to be creditied to the account.

only because if i want to do some xmas shopping on the 26th from their direct catalouge to take advantage of their double points offer, as in my ccplus leaflet it said if there was a double points offer then by using the pluscard i would get 3 points by paying with the plus card. but as the offer ends on the 28th i was wondering if the money would credit intime to buy the pressies i have seen.
(i have set a dd to have money put on the card but it doesnt go on till the 29th so would be a day late for the extra points)

    sorry if thats confusing!!

    Hi there,

If i pay cash onto my Clubcard Plus card at CS at my local store it's there immediately. I have found however that if I pay cash onto it at the store near where I work it takes a couple of days to clear :confused:

If I were you, I'd try paying in a fiver, check the balance at the cash machine - if it's there you know your store credits your card immediately, if not check the following day and so on. TPF say it should take no longer than 3 working days.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks to someone on PTS, just found out that Tesco are running another promotion offering clubcard points for opening a savings account.

The offer - Up to 2,000 Clubcard Points

Open any Tesco Savings Account between 18th September and 12th November 2008 and receive up to 2,000 Clubcard Points. See table below for details.

Cleared balance on 30th November 2008
    Clubcard Points awarded
    £1,000 500
    £3,000 1,000
    £5,000 1,500
    £50,000 2,000

They are offering a 1.5% bonus interest, making it 6.25%.

This time the promotion is one per person, whereas last time, it was restricted to one per household.
  • Hello All

We are off to centre parcs next year for a weekend break and i know you can get vouchers via tesco points for the restaurants.

Im wondering if you can use the clubcard plus in ANY petrol station as there are no tesco stores/petrol tations near to me. Can the clubcard plus be used like a debit card?

Do you get double points on everything you spend anywhere?

    thanks all

Does that mean I could open up one of these accounts, transfer some money into it to have it cleared for 30th November, get the points, take the money out and close the account the week after?

    Thanks.
