Does that mean I could open up one of these accounts, transfer some money into it to have it cleared for 30th November, get the points, take the money out and close the account the week after?

    Thanks.

    Yes, you can do that.
  • Hello All

We are off to centre parcs next year for a weekend break and i know you can get vouchers via tesco points for the restaurants.

Im wondering if you can use the clubcard plus in ANY petrol station as there are no tesco stores/petrol tations near to me. Can the clubcard plus be used like a debit card?

Do you get double points on everything you spend anywhere?

    thanks all

Clubcard plus is a savings account with tesco, I have one and am 99.9% sure it cannot be used elsewhere. It has not got chip and pin so most people wouldn't accept it.

No, I'm afraid you can only use Clubcard Plus in Tesco stores, at Tesco.com or in Tesco petrol stations. In those outlets it is used like a debit card but only at Tesco.
  • Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I would really like to book a holiday to Florida in 2010, and so have started as of now to save my points in earnest!

But I just wanted to clarify - the vouchers you get in the post have a 2 year expiry date, so I can swap them for deal vouchers any time before they expire? so I can leave them for 18 months or so?
    Moving on up :o SPC #382 ~ £40 banked
    12k in 2016 #15. £541.91/£3000

Yes that's right, plus the Deals tokens have a 6 month expiry on them too!

Hi, i have 5 clubcards registered to my address on for me,wife, 2 sons and my mum under one address. Can i send in 30 ink cartridges for each person that holds a clubcard at my address? So in total i will be sending in 150 catridges. Is that ok or is there a limit to only 30 per household no matter how many people are registered with tesco and live their?

    Thanks for any help

    From their website:
"Please note: From 1st March 2008 there will be a 30 cartridge limit per household, per year. (...)"
  • I already have a Tesco online savings account, opened earlier in the year to take advantage of the extra clubcard points. I only keep a couple of pounds in normally. Would I get the extra points if I have the qualifying balance in on Nov 30th, or is it just for people who open a new account?
  • Just a word of warning - I have purchased ink cartridges from ebay in the past and sent them to the Tesco Recycling Scheme but have not had points added. When I queried this they told me that the ink cartridges I sent in were mostly faulty or failed their testing system so I was in effect out of pocket. I have had this on a few occasions with different sellers and have now stopped buying from ebay sellers. It's just a gamble you take.

I doubt that you would get the points. I've just closed my account and plan to reopen again in a few weeks time to qualify for the points.
