Asda at West Bridgford, Nottingham have the Cyberhome @ £59.99 - not many left though

Thanks but they had sold out by 11.00am. They said they may be getting some more in - i'll try and post if and when they do.

I've tried price matching with other local stores but they're not able to do so.

Its £85 at my Asda too :(
Are stores still selling cheaper? Did anybody manage to get a price match against a different Asda?

    Cheers :)

Tried it last night at a non superstore and got nowhere basically...
I also phoned Asda Customer services (Number on their website) and got nowhere with them either! :(

They have been mispriced. I was stood in Asda when an Asda worker changed the price from 59 to 84. He said that they have been mispriced UK wide.

No misprice this was an offer at the Walmart Supercentres which ended yesterday. See my storelist post#13 here.

Lets hope this has been a market test as the
ones in my local Asda at £84.95 are not selling and the price is $99 (£56) in US, they are trying it on in the UK.

So there is a chance they will end up at £59 countrywide.

Just goes to show. Never trust what a supermarket worker tells you.

For info the MU and ZU are US models (U for US) and the ME is European (E for... well you know). Looks like the difference befween Z and M is a lot, totally different menu systems, apparently different front panel, and no DiVX on the Z, but it looks like there are no Z european models anyway!

And, contrary to my previous post, it does look like it has not got RGB in - shame - will have to concoct some dodgy S-video cable!

    I can confirm

At lunch item was priced at £59, this afternoon was changed to £84.
  • The 1600ME I bought definitley has SCART-in. Forgive my ignorance, but does a SCART by nature mean it is RGB-in?
Recordings seem quality - is it a case that the lack of an RGB SCART-in was an 'oops' on earlier models which has now been corrected...?
