They had loads of the Cyberhome 1600 model in the Swindon Asda Walmart yesterday evening around 6pm, priced at £59.94.
I picked one up, but haven't had a chance to open up the box yet.
Cheers,

At lunch item was priced at £59, this afternoon was changed to £84.
Was this a Walmart Supercentre, cos in all my local stores the price has never been anything other than £84.94. hardly a storewide misprice. Though the Christmas gift brochure shows £89.97.ac's lovechild0 -
Still loads at Bristol Cribbs today.0

Help setting up 1600 to tv and freeview box[/B] I have just tried to set my 1600 up with my freeview box and the only tv channels that it recognises are the 4 terrestrial stations. Can anyone tell me how to set it up correctly. I don't have an s-video connection on my tv. Incidentally, tried the helpline no. for an hour and couldn't get through and after two calls to Asda head office was told "they are all out for training until 5pm today". I'm afraid I am totally useless on these things, so simpleton help is required. Thanks

try what i posted earlier it make work (i prefer scart connection to svideo), the only minor problem i have is i have to switch skybox off inorder to play a movie on dvd recorder. The only other suggestion would be to get a scart to svideo converter, if you want to go down the route suggested by tin.
As for the freeview channel problem not sure what the solution is since i got skybox, i guess somone else may help you.0 -
Glad I gave this one a missNo links in signatures please.0

Connect the scart on the freeview to your 1600's SCART2, and then repeatedly press source until the scart is selected (nice onscreen pics of the back of the unit so you can't go wrong!). When selected press enter.
If still no picture, check the freeview box is set (initially anyway) to CVBS or Composite output, just in case it turns off composite when in RGB mode, or if it has one connect the VCR SCART of the freeview to the SCART2 on the 1600.
If you can already see the 1600's output (if it's got the 4 terrestrial channels?) then you don't need to make any changes to the TV connection.
However if you can't see the 1600's output, connect it to the TV from SCART1 to a SCART on the TV, and ensure you select the SCART on the TV. How you do that is anybodys guess.
Hope this helps0 -
Hi,
Can anyone confirm what should be included with the unit? I have received the following:
- DVD recorder
- Aerial cable
- Scart cable
- Power cable
- Remote control
I was expecting there to be a manual or user guide or something, but the only piece of paper I found was an advert for Liverpool VictoriaCan anyone confirm if there should be a manual or user guide included?
Cheers,
