Hurrah, paid 74p to RBS last night, and 82p to Egg today - so that's my credit cards CLEARED!

Those last payments were the interest remaining from the balance I had previously cleared, so there should be nothing to come through next month now. The RBS card will be cancelled, but I think I'll keep the Egg one as it's easier to manage.

    Morning all.

Unfortunately just 79p for me today - paid towards Barclaycard.

Have a good day and weekend everyone.
    79p is better than 0p!!

i am just putting money in my pot at the moment - i am concentrating on the £10 a day challenge now so should have some lump sums to pay off when my cash starts rolling in!!
  • £1 for me today.

Hopefully as of Monday I will be able to add a lot more each day as the time has come to give up smoking. I just can't justify the money anymore, I spend £4.75 a day.

I have tried and failed many times but it really needs to be done!
    Wish me luck!

Hope everyone has a good day.

thanks hopful1, the problem is how do i open another account as i have no passport, an old fashioned drivers licences(no Picture}. i do have an other bank account in my name (the one with the overdraft is a joint account even though it is only my salary that gose in there) but that is also with Barclays so they could still get at my money do you think it be ok to use that account.?

    Dee

Don't use another Barclays account as they can offset one against the other. I applied for a Natwest acc and Halifax account online. I can't remember which forms of ID i had to send. Can you send off for a photocard license in the meantime? Ring around a few banks and ask or check the small print online.

    MY PAYMENTS FOR TODAY:

    B'clays o/d £2.50
    Next £10
