shona I have 'Stupid Sock Creatures' book - not that pleased with it thought. This week I bought 'Sock and Glove' and there are some really cute things in there, HOWEVER, our sock monkeys are much better than theirs:D

here is my 1st 1, he needs eyes in pic, but has them since i took pic



my son wants it but i have told him its for a friend (xmas for him), i have almost compleated number 2 for other son.

i have stuffed my arms and legs with bean bag filler so they can be "moved". the body i have done with cushion stuffing. i used over the knee socks for both and they have really long legs!!!

Chatty that is very kind of you! Thank you for the offer! However I have managed to find some good socks in a shop called 'Seconds Ahead' in my village, it is like one of those factory discount shops. They have 3 pairs socks for £2.50. (I think thats a good price?) I also got socks from Peacocks when I made a trip to the 'big town'! :rotfl: (I have used these to make my first 3 monkeys)

I might try and post some photos on here, I love seeing everybody elses!

Do you have a Tesco near you? I've just been and they have a few nice packs which are priced at £3 for 3 but actually come up at £2 when you get to the till:D

Hi my sock monkey making pals I have just bought 10 pairs of socks for £3. I am not sure if you have a pound empire but in there I bought 4 pairs for £1 and they have monkeys on them and say "Go Bananas" looking forward to using them.

Cnt wait to do all 10 monkeys, wow am I going to be busy.
