Fantastic Chatty123 I love them:D my favourite though is the one in the 3rd pic he's just soooo cute:T

these camouflage ones have been very popular but are a !!!!!! to turn thru and stuff. there's no give in the sock at all.

i've done quite a few for some guys in afghanistan with guns. they cheer them up i think.

my next ones are going to be sailors tho. when i get some navy blue socks that is.

    Hi

You can get lovely toy stuffing at Fabric Land for only £2.10 a bag - this is a 450g bag.

They have branches all over - check here to see if there is one close to you http://www.fabricland.co.uk/

That is cheap! I have never heard of Fabric Land, so I don't think there is one near me. Unfortunatly I live in the back of beyond (not many shops here, especially big shops and chainstores), hence I have to buy everything off ebay!! :(
    Thanks tho!

I have been buying cheap Ikea cushions at about 50p each and these do about 4 monkeys each. They are small light blue square things and the stuffing is lovely and soft and fluffy, so ideal for stuffing monkeys.

Re sock monkeys anonymous, shall I set up a Facebook group?! :rotfl:

blue fairy: if you ever struggle to get hold of good socks. you could always ask on here because i for one would be willing to post some off to you. the postage costs would be very low due to the light weight.

Hi everyone, Ive been following this thread avidly for the last few months but have only had net access on my mobile until recently and havent been able to add photos or comment on threads but I am addicted to making these little monkeys! As soon as I figure out how to upload a pic I will. Regarding the hand made charms some of you add on, I got mine off ebay for about £6 delivered for 300 hands with 'hand made' on and 150 tear drops with 'made with love'. I know i'll never make that many monkeys but they were so much cheaper than a lot of other sellers. The ebay shop was 'trymybest88', if you type free shipping they should come up. Sorry for rambling on a bit.
