hi everyone please can i join this group ive just ordered all my bits for my very 1st sock monkey been wanting to make one for ages and thought if i dont try soon i never will may need a lot of help lol cant wait for the stuff 2 arrive roughly how long did everyones 1st sock monkey take 2 make ?

My first monkey seemed to take ages to make cos I didn't really know what I was doing! But speeded up as I made more and more. The extra clothes can take as much time to make as the actual monkey:eek:

I think you will find a tutorial on the first page of google if you put in 'tutorial sock monkeys'. Youtube also have useful videos.

i was thinkin of doin it by hand would this make it a lot harder or is it easier to use a sewing machine i really wanna get started but worried will mess it up silly i know
