I have just seen some packs of 3 boys ' Skull' socks in Poundland which would be ok for any Goth fans out there.



They also had some camouflage style ones in the 99p Store which may be ok if you know someone in the Army. I'm not sure how many there were in a pack though and they were young kids socks so quite small. Perhaps they would make a nice sized lucky mascot to send to someone in Afghanistan etc.

have to agree with you troythecat, great colours.. i do ahve my favourites and am always reluctant to part with those, as i very rarely make 2 alike. similar but not alike.. but i need to make room for more ha ha

I made my first sock monkey yesterday after seeing them on here 3 days ago and falling in love. I am very pleased with the way it turned out for my first attempt, although there's lots of room for improvement. My three children all love it and keep fighting over it so will have to make some more quick.
The thing I'm least happy with is the mouth so was wondering how you all make the mouths look good?
