I recently made a 'gothic' monkey and just ended up buying some studs from Primark and used them normally (Through the ear, and butterfly on the end!)..So much for 'Money Saving'0 -

I amde quite a few last year with piercings and found the best way was using straight pins that have the beaded head, and bend using pliars. try to get the sharp end bedded inside the monkeys stuffing
obv do warn the recipient of any poss sharp bits.0 -
Just popped on to see what everyone is up to, and see that you are all busy too.
I think we need to spread Christmas over a longer period to give us more time with orders LOL!!
Has anyone noticed that the stuffing from Dunelm seems to have gone a bit hard, not the soft fluffy stuff that it was plus it has gone up by £1 a bag.
I am going to have to start looking around for another supply as it needs to be reliable0 -

I am now on my second bag from there, and I am finding that it has big clumps of harder stuff. Before I bought this, I used to get some from The Range but it was only for 500g and I paid £4.99 for that. I normally pay £6.99 for the 1kg bagSo much for 'Money Saving'0 -

i think the witch with black hair is mine!
thanks babyfreckles
pinktreefairy - If you go back a few pages (or quite a few) you will see a few people who have put hair on the sock monkeys. I just did what they said, I sewed the wool on and then i got a pin and seperated the wool. it kind of went frizzy. the witch is on my blog if you want a peek at her without trawling back through pages and pages. But there are a few pictures including a dennis the menace i think.0
