Wow, what wonderful monkeys nuttybabe. :T:T:T
I still haven't got around to making any yet, and doubt I will have any time to before Christmas, but I am determined to make ones next year. You are all such an inspiration!!
Can anyone tell me the best place to get sock from please. Is it worth while getting cheapie socks, or are they too thin/flimsy?? I will investigate the sales when they come and get a few so I can get going in January!

I tend to go to Peacocks too, but find Tesco, Asda and Debenhams just as good for socks

Having loved and adored all the sock monkeys, and having taken my children sock shopping during the week, I am now just over half way through my first monkey. I am just wondering, as he is looking peculiar, whether I have bought the wrong sized socks, or have I done something else wrong!
I bought ladies socks sized 4-7. Was this right, or are children's socks better?
I have done mine so that the top of his head is the toe of the sock. Is that right? I was looking at some others and wondered if I had done it the wrong way round as his body is looking very long.
Also, is it better to use the toe or the heel for the mouth part. I can't get either to look right.
I am trying very hard not to get too frustrated so would love some advice! Thank you.0
