Sock monkeys!

Ive made a few emo/goth sock monkeys, all made from knee high socks from the £ shop. I just use one sock per monkey and use the left overs to make the mouth, that way they turn out the same size as my other monkeys and I dont have to waste another sock, I cant post pictures yet to try and explain how I do the mouths though.

This is Cherry, the socks are actually a lot more of a neon pink than it looks in the picture. Hopefully you can see what I mean about the mouth piece

They are so effective, but I know what you mean. There is always one design that's really popular. I'm like that with pirates.

I buy them in Peacocks Cuddles but I find them quite small too because they are womens size. I much rather the stripey mens socks personally the monkeys come out a really nice size. I was really disappointed yesterday I've had 5 cow sock orders so I popped into my local Peacocks for more and after making 1 up last night I realised the pink is very pale pink not like the darker pink in the pic above The darker pink ones were from Peacocks in another town and the colour difference is really noticeable!
