It's probably going to be for my daughter (14 months old!), but will probably go on the shelf as opposed to being played with as I wouldn't trust my stitching with her enquring hands!!!

Really, really pleased with it though.

Good idea, but keep making them until you have one strong enough for her to play with. Toddlers love Sock Monkeys!

Takes it to bed, shares breakfast, sits on sofa and cuddles it and if anyone else who touches him there is alot of screams!!!!!! I wont let him take it to school though!!! :P And my 4yr old and 3 yr old still carry theirs around that they got for xmas! Never known any other toys be so popular!!! :D

My avatar I made for a party girl hamper for my sil (19) and she loves her! My 37 year old mate takes hers everywhere! Even has a photo file on facebook for his adventures!!! Her boyfriend thinks she is mad!!! :rotfl:
  • That's lovely li'l_p! Well done!

Nutty, the big eyes are so cute! Reminds me of Puss from Shrek! :D

I've decided to make a mini monkey for someone but my idea requires darkish green socks. Children's socks really for the small-ness. Any thoughts where I might get some? I'm gonna call in Primark before work tomorrow as a first port of call.
