I didnt even post a picture of my first one!!!! Your second will be better but remember it doesnt matter how bad you think they are, kids love them! And its their individuality that makes them special so I am sure yours is just as lovable as any one else's on here.
My daughter has my first (call fred) in her room protecting her from a wicked witch we have living upstairs (dont ask!!! :P).0 -
madmumofthree; a lot of people make them by hand if they dont have a machine, they come out the same just take longer to do.
Nuttybabe; those boxers are soo cute, love it :T
CottonwoolKate; aww dont give up. I have been doing them for a long time so have developed them to the way I want. (My first one was pretty dire )Others have been doing them for ages as well. You have to practise, practise, practise. Same with anything really, it takes time, but you will get there.:T0 -
Pennib - Thanks. He's got a blue pair as well!!!! If he works for the little boy, I will do one for my youngest!!!0

love the boxer shorts..
and to all new monkey makers..... i have been making these for years but still get the odd ones that end up looking "not quite right" so the main point is as long as they have all their bits in the right places.. they make that extra special gift because YOU have made it especially for the recipient
so keep going dont give up0 -

Pennib - I told my sister and she wants to know if he works as well!!! :P I could be onto a winner here!!!
Cuddles - they are brilliant. Where did you get the socks from. I am have been asked to make flowery sock monkey but cant find any socks!!!0 -
Can't honestly remember Nutty - had them a while - but think they were from the £ shop.
They are girls size, so not huge, but came in a pack of three - hence the Triplets.
Do you have access to a £ shop, or would you like me to get you some if I see them?
Haven't finished it, but I'm doing a monkey from grey socks with little flowers on, which came from Peacocks.
Pics when finished.Jack of all trades ... Master of none

Thanks Cuddles, very kind of you to offer but we have a few pound shops round here. I will pop into town next week and search them!!!
Will pop into peacocks as well. I do have 1 pair from matalan which are similar but not seen any others and she has 2 daughters.
Which reminds me, my mate text me earlier to say primark had a sale on socks. So will be going there as well!!0
