Thanks I looked in Primark today but couldn't find any plain green socks. I didn't have time to look anywhere else, am going to go hunting in my lunch break tomorrow. Will try poundland and peacocks (just in case!)

Saw some plain green boys socks in Peacocks yesterday. Were in packs of 5 or 7 though.
You really would have to make more monkeys with the other socks

I am worried I've overstuffed my monkey body. Once his face is on he may look better. I stitched the nose on last night but unpicked it as it was not roomy enough for the stuffing.
Hope to finish it tonight whilst watching BB final.

Hi everyone, I have been having PC problems so it is quite a while since I posted anything.

In answer to hogshead - I always stuff my monkeys quite firmly, I like to make sure the feet and hands are stuffed so there is no loose fabric and do the same with the rest of them too.

I think I use about 200 -250 gsm of stuffing per monkey
