I buy lots of socks from ebay and only usually pay about £1 including postage, but then I usually buy 12 pairs at a time. I have also bought as low as 25p. If I see something that I think will work, I get them so I always have some in stock. At the moment I have so many, that I could make sock monkeys for months, but never seem to have just the right colour or pattern that I need.

Only a bagful !! - you want to visit me - I currently have 5 crates full, but still don't always have what is requested. I must use up the ones I have and not keep buying more, but I am the same with fabric - got boxes and cupboards full of the stuff yet never seem to have the right colour etc. for the project I want to make

Nuttybabe - I found these today in Wilko they were about £2.89 for a pack of 4. They would be ideal for camo soldier monkeys.
If you can't get your hands on any I'd gladly get you some and post em on, I imagine they wont weigh much :) pm me if you want some...

Our Wilko has a section that sells tights, socks, kids undies and slippers etc. thats where they were.
Hope you find them, if not just let me know I dont imagine the postage will be more than a quid so they will work out about £1 a pair.
