Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me dropping in.

I absolutely love the monkeys you've all been making and started making some more myself recently. I've just finished another 3 monkeys for a friend of mine and her little girls in the North West and I'd like to share them with you all

    Hope this works

QueenBee, they are from NewLook and they were £4 for 3 pairs which I didn't think was too bad

I love the rainbow stars on them and wanted to make them the same but different if you understand what I mean

Hi, you've all done some fab monkeys.. they seem to be taking over my house now! Blooming addictive! I've even asked for a sewing machine for Christmas so I can make them a bit quicker!
Anyway here are my latest 3, they're all Christmas presents, I've named them all & given them tags like Paddington Bear with "Please look after this sock monkey, her/his name is ..."!

I've got one more to make for Christmas, hoping to start him today!

Keep 'em coming. They are all fab. Gotta post mine on here soon.....
  • Hey, borrowed my housemate's sewing machine to start a monkey off so need to stuff her and sew her together my hand from now. It is for a friend who loves her i-phone, plays lacrosse, works at a clothes shop, is training to be a social worker... any ideas on accessories that will be easy to do? Thanks in advance!

    3tabbycats.....your monkeys are so cute!

Did you hand do the pompoms on the end of your scarves?

Thank you for the compliment! Yes the pom poms are hand done, I saw someone else on here had done them like that ( could be stardrops??) and copied so I can't take any credit! When I tie them around the middle, before I pull the cardboard circles off, I leave a long length of wool & use that to sew them onto the end of the scarf.
