A work in progress but made some sock monsters for my 2 children ... I need to nip into town tomorrow to buy some star buttons. Socks were £1 a pair ;) I bought 2 different pairs and made 2 monsters out of 1 sock :)

Very cute - love the stars and stripe socks ....may I ask where you found them as they would be perfect for my friend in the States !
The 99p store had a pack of buttons prob more for card making - but had star shaped ones....think Boyes have some too.

I got them from the local market. I can go down next fri and see if he has some more if you want?
we don't have a 99p store or a boyes I am afraid, but I am pretty sure one of the 2 button/sewing shops in town will have them, infact I know one stocks them just need to remember which one :)

I am loving this thread and love all your sock moneys and monsters.

I started my first one the other night but it am not happy with its mouth, so going to have another attempt and will post some photos.

Just thought i would give a heads up, as in Dorothy Perkins they have some socks for £1 in the sale and they are lovely stripey and spotty ones, pink, cream, blue, peach and glittery, look good for a few new additions to everyones' sock monkey clan!!

Well done Zoe she is lovely, no wonder your daughter has stolen her!

Finch can't wait to see the photos! I struggled like mad with the mouth on mine, so now I am sticking to the monsters who have no puffy mouths!
