accepted on both sales & on our joint purchase
25/01/21: Identity checks completed, solicitors instructed
27/01/21: Purchase survey & valuation complete, mortgage offer
received
05/02/21: Reduction agreed on partner's sale (under-valuation) & on
purchase. Mortgage offer amended
08/02/21: Buyers pack returned to solicitor - sellers packs already returned
26/02/21:
Partner's sale contract signed
10/03/21: Purchase searches all back
16/03/21: My sale contract signed
28/03/21: Purchase enquiries satisfied, Title
Report & contracts issued, contracts signed & returned
11/05/21: Still waiting on final enquiry in the adjoining chain to be resolved. Consent to break the chain granted, instruction to move to exchange given.
17/05/21: All parties agreed to June 3rd for completion
27/05/21: Exchanged on my sale only
28/05/21: ALL EXCHANGED!
03/06/21: Completion

A work in progress but made some sock monsters for my 2 children ... I need to nip into town tomorrow to buy some star buttons. Socks were £1 a pair
I bought 2 different pairs and made 2 monsters out of 1 sock

The 99p store had a pack of buttons prob more for card making - but had star shaped ones....think Boyes have some too.:jPobodys Nerfect:j0 -
I got them from the local market. I can go down next fri and see if he has some more if you want?
we don't have a 99p store or a boyes I am afraid, but I am pretty sure one of the 2 button/sewing shops in town will have them, infact I know one stocks them just need to remember which one

I am loving this thread and love all your sock moneys and monsters.
I started my first one the other night but it am not happy with its mouth, so going to have another attempt and will post some photos.
Just thought i would give a heads up, as in Dorothy Perkins they have some socks for £1 in the sale and they are lovely stripey and spotty ones, pink, cream, blue, peach and glittery, look good for a few new additions to everyones' sock monkey clan!!0 -

Here is my second and thrid sock monkey that I've made, friends and family have started asking me to make them for them now which is really nice and with each monkey my sewing has slightly improved!!
