lovely monkeys ladies, i have been so busy and haven't made any monkeys for a while but these past couple days i have pulled my finger out and managed to out sew 33 monkeys worth of socks, now all i need to do is stuff em, put them together and dress em - i think i must be mad. I have had orders for christmas presents already from my friends. my sons monkey martin who was my first has just returned home from portugal and we got many admiring glances from the people who saw him xx0

It's a zebra, but thank youKrysaltips your sock horse / donkey? is so clever - I'm sure your aunt will be very cheered up! I want to try making a sock giraffe soon, although can't quite work out the best way to make it.
My aunt was over the moon with it... It's her fave colour sock... And best of all DD actually got it out of the bag to give to her!
I got the instructions for it from this book but altered it a little because I was using knee length socks for the long legs..

Here is my latest creation, her name is Love Hearts, I`m addicted to making these now and have recently completed an order for 4 baby sock monkeys which I really enjoyed doing... I forgot to take pics of them tho!
