As for not liking your own work....for one thing I'm sure it's great, but a lot of this is about having fun, chatting and encouraging each other....which is all free, but also can I say my favourite monkeys are the slightly facially challenged ones (ugly, to you and me!) :rotfl::rotfl:Thanks this just cheered me up to the brim this morning. Sat here naughty on the tinternet and meant to be getting my little girl ready for school. My monkey has its quirky bits, especially the stiching that sewed up his bum lol.

It should be finished today, going to have another go after I have been to the doctors. Thats if I can keep awake for a least 5 mins and not fall asleep lol.

Anyway, I've been out to MR T this morning as I couldn't find any socks I could bear to cut up from my drawers.

Planning on making a start tomorrow

can someone tell me what are the best size socks to use? I plan on making these as a reward for my children when they have filled their reward chart so much cheaper than buying them something and I am sure they will love them!! Not much chance of them looking as good as the ones on here tho lol!! Will have a try!! x

Hiya Lesley- Ive just bought normal adult ladies socks with a funky design on. I'm hoping that if I can master it I might get some cute pink ones and make a sumptuous fairy for my niece for her 1st birthday!!

thank you!! Will try and get some cheap ones from tesco tomorrow!! It looks like fun and can help take my mind off the rest of my life for a while lol!! Looking forward to comparing photos of our attempts lol! If I can master this then everyone will be getting one for Christmas!! x:D
