I have made 3 monkeys now and really enjoyed them and I have no talent at sewing at all, I think part of the appeal of handmade toys is that they look handmade and are unique. I used the instructions on the instructable website and the only really awkward bit was sewing on the limbs so that they hung right and were in the right place. I used felt for the eyes, a white circle then a dark one because I thought they looked cuter. I'd totally give it a go Julie, I did my first one by hand and it took ages but it was so worth it for the look on my friend's face when he was given itI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0

Hi Sharon
The socks where just part of a 3 pack from Tesco, I get quite alot from there:D
The eyes are just sewn on with black cotton and are usually about the last thing I do on the monkey. Hope that helps:DFeb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)
