I emailed Ben and Jerry's because I had a tub of Half Baked with no bits in! I received a voucher for a free tub worth £4.99, as it was less than that in Tesco at the time I got a few pence off the rest of my shopping!

Also emailed Starbucks when I had a vanilla spice latte with no cream (paid extra), I got two drink vouchers for any drink any size! Awesome!

Do you have the e-mail for Ben & Jerry's I can't seem to find it anywhere? =]

    Today I got

Molton Brown - 3 Shower Gel sample bottles for asking for samples
Starbucks - 2 Free drinks vouchers for complaint
L'Occitane - Loads of sachets for asking for samples :)

Katy was this by email or post? could you put up the address or pm me with it for Molton Brown and l'occitane. I have never tried this before and dont know what department I should be targeting. Sounds like its worth a go, thanks for posting!

Funny to find this thread after watching "extreme couponing" last night. If you havent seen it look it up on youtube to be amazed. Americans reducing their food bills by hundreds of dollars at a time by seeking out coupons, very entertaining but not sure I would ever have the nerve to do it on such a large scale!!

Has anyone got the details to complain to asda please ?
  • I've got a genuine complaint I'd like to make to Papermate but I can't find a UK contact form/details - does anyone know any way to contact them in the UK? Thanks.

Haven't done any writing to companies in well over a year, so today I sat down and emailed a few:

    - Quorn (genuine complaint)
    - Douwe Egberts (product query)
    - Pedigree (compliment)
    - Hellmann's (compliment)
    - Britvic, for their Drench drink (compliment + query)
    - Muller (genuine complaint)
    - Ritz Crackers (compliment)
    - McVities (compliment)
    - Batchelor's, for their Supernoodles (compliment) - not sure if this one went through or not, every time I submitted my message I never got a confirmation of it going through, just a 'whoops' message from the host of the contact form, coming up with some sort of error...

I also emailed my local veg box company with a genuine complaint, as I was sent a bag of beetroot in which 6 out of the 10 were mouldy  Only had two problems in a whole year though, so they are usually very good, and with the last problem I had they sent me a free box of mixed berries and plums as an apology. Great service :)

Hopefully I'll hear back shortly from at least some of the companies (especially the ones with complaints - one was about a product that made my fiance sick!)

Sent off an email to Molton Brown a few days ago asking for some free samples.
Three small bottles and some sun protection cream turned up today in the post.
