  • Hi everyone

Newbie to the thred here came onto it the other day and was engrossed!

I purchased a big box of Johnsons baby wipes prior to having my baby. Started using them when he was born in Oct last year and every single packet of the wipes the wipes were coming out in huge long reels and not as singles like they are supposed to. Ended up wasting loads of them. Didnt think anything of it until got to the last packet. Opened the tab and it ripped the whole pack open and yet again all the wipes were stuck together. Not impressed:mad: especially when your struggling to change a newborn!

Anyway contacted them and got the usual have you got the packet, which yes it did. Sent them back together with letter.

Today I received a letter back with one packet of wipes and a £2.00 off voucher. Immediately i rang them and said I bought a box of 6 packs which were all faulty. Apparently they will send a £6.00 coupon for me for the mistake.... I should think so lol

  • Hey guys, wondering if I could have your thoughts.
I complimented andrex in an email... and they said thanks for the comment and said they would send me some vouchers in the post.
I got a £2 voucher off their product with a letter saying this is from the response you sent us online, and didnt think anything else of it..
Then yesterday I got the same letter again with £6 voucher attached...
and today I got the same letter once again but with £2 voucher attached..
I mean im grateful for the vouchers.. but surely the repeat letter/vouchers sent must be a mistake.
Should I contact them to let them know and incase they keep sending more out unknowingly??

Hi, this isn't a recent thing, but in sept 2010, my mum ordered 2 bikes for my daughters birthdays from ASDA direct. Delivery did not turn up when it was suppposed too, she had booked a delivery slot and paid extra for it. So she phoned ASDA direct and was told that they had attempted to deliver the bikes but no-one was in. My mum challenged this, stating that she had been in all day waiting, and no delivery slip had been placed throught her door. They then stated that they were unable to find her house. New delivery date and time arranged. On second occassion, they delivered it to a neighbours house instead and only left one bike. Phoned again, and was told that the other bike had been damaged in transit. At this point she got really mad. The second bike was delivered a few days later. Following this, mum emailed a complaint, and quickly got a call back from someone quite senior. Very apologetic about the whole thing. As a result, they refunded the cost of the second bike. Very impressed.

  • Call the Rowntee consumer line when they brought out their new sours think it was the faces, but to me they didn't taste sour at all, called up and told them and they sent me back a voucher for the cost and a bit more and apologised (said I enjoyed their other products).

Did the same with Foxes a few years back tried a new flavour, didn't like it called the line, told them still very much enjoyed their mints and they send me a apology voucher for the cost and for some mints.
  • :)Hi
I dont normally complain about things but I wanted your advice. Have any of you ever bought a crate of bottle beer and once open discover 2 of the bottles have been seeping and spilt all over the box? Would this be my fault if they have maybe been shaked abit in the car or something??
    Thank you in advance

  • I just sent a detailed email off to McDonalds' customer services for a terrible meal we had tonight; I spent just over £13 and we had overcooked, old chips, a spicy wedge found in the toddler's bag of fries, rubbery onions and gherkins on partner's burger and dry bread for both of us! The only good thing was the drinks! I took my partner and his son out for a treat for tea and it was rubbish for all 3 of us, so hoping to hear back from them about this issue.
