  • What they emailed to me;

I would like to thank your for the interest you have shown in our products, however the free samples are only available when placing an order.

Once you have selected your products and enter your basket at the bottom of your shopping bag you will have the facility to select your 3 favourite samples from the selection provided.
  • It seems to depend on who answers the email and what they feel like sending you if anything, but you win some you lose some. I love a good freebie, the more the merrier especially when moneys tight. Am sending a few emails while I wait for the washing to finish and dinner to cook.
  • They said the same to me, so I sent them abuse saying they're liars.

    Lovely ...

Same as Yorkshire, then? Not ;)

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply that really helps with what to write. :)

How do they know where to include the samples or vouchers? Do you put your address at the end?

It just seems odd to compliment and include your address, it is like you are expecting something (which we know we are :D, but they dont)

    Thank you again!

or add a signature on your email that has you name and address on it like businesses do.

£8 vouchers from muller, found a piece of plastic in the pot and complained. my poor niece nearly choked. i contacted them through their online form and they requested certain details from packaging didnt need to send actual packaging, and they posted me vouchers.

£25 sainsburys vouchers - complaint from my daughter getting half cooked chicken nuggets in the cafe, sent them back, came back again still frozen inside, sent back again, then came back a 3rd time and the chicken was now fish goujons!!! no supervisor around, refunded money at till and sent a complaint through online form, they apologised and sent vouchers advising me to let her choose something, she did really well in the toy sale.

  • I emailed cathedral city cheese people on Sunday with a genuine compliment and received a voucher today for a free pack of delicious cheese. I do actually really like their lighter cheese, less calories/fat without compromising the flavour! Thanks Cathedral City! :T
  • They said the same to me, so I sent them abuse saying they're liars.

They replied saying sorry, but you must order something and the person I know who got samples must have ordered something to get them..

These companies are not obliged to give anyone anything, and people who abuse their generosity and send them abusive emails deserve what they get..........nothing!

I got a tube of day cream and also got £3 Pinecone and a product to test too so a good day!

I agree, sending them abuse is taking it too far. They don't have to send you anything. I'm just grateful for what I have been sent as Mr T say every little helps.

received email back from andrex saying thank you for feed back and that they welcome all feedback good or bad and that some vouchers are in the post on their way to me. all i put in my email to them was that their bright and bold toilet roll was encouraging my young daughter to wipe properlly when she goes to the toilet, she said feed back like that helps with how they market future products and when they go to supermarkets etc they give them this feedback and it encourages them to put it on the shelves.

had an email back from jaffa cakes - my daughter loved the strawberry ones they brought out last year and has been asking for them ever since, so i asked them if any plans were to bring them back, she advised she had passed info on to marketing team, so will keep you posted.

yorkshire tea - i advised them that i had tried a competitors tea and found it disgusting so would be sticking to yorkshire tea in the future, they replied saying thanks and they were sending me sample pack of Yorkshire tea which also includes a money off coupon for you to use on a next purchase.
