I had a whole raft of e-mails today simply saying 'thank you' or 'thank you, but no samples for you.'
I am starting to run out of companies to write to - I've been looking in cupboards to remind myself what brands I use, but having downshifted many products, there isn't a whole lot to choose from! :rotfl:
Are most of you hoping to make up hampers for Christmas then or are you looking for treats for yourselves?0 -
both
why not try going to tesco or boots website to look up brandsI had a whole raft of e-mails today simply saying 'thank you' or 'thank you, but no samples for you.'I am starting to run out of companies to write to - I've been looking in cupboards to remind myself what brands I use, but having downshifted many products, there isn't a whole lot to choose from! :rotfl:

i complained to walkers about a multi pack we bought with some split open and some stuck the seal of the multipack packaging.
they want the codes for the bags, but are still sending us some vouchers regardless. i don't know why they say this, because who keeps that sort of thing? i am not going to keep stale opened crisps until i get a reply for them! lol.
Awesome for the vouchers though
Postie not been yet, but will post when we doesx

Hi,
Thanks for the reply that really helps with what to write.
How do they know where to include the samples or vouchers? Do you put your address at the end?
It just seems odd to compliment and include your address, it is like you are expecting something (which we know we are, but they dont)
Thank you again!0 -
compliment their product, then say you havent tried any of their other products, and ask if the offer any samples for you to try.
or if your writing to somewhere you havent tried their product before, ask if they have a sample for you to try before you go ahead and buy the full product.
try before you buy sort of thinghope that helps at all x

I think it's great to compliment companies but I don't think posting company names are appropriate on this site as I suspect many people are trying the same companies. I just feel sorry for the little companies who think that someone is interested in their products and wants to please a "new potential customer" by sending samples not realising that its a person after a few freebies.0 -
I thought you all may like this, I saw it a couple of years ago, I hear he got a job from Richard afterwards! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/4344890/Virgin-the-worlds-best-passenger-complaint-letter.html0
