After reading this topic, i decided to write to remingtom about a electric shaver i bought years ago , it had a two year guarantee but somehow on a flight to america the foils on the heads broke, i had done nothing for years as i didn't want to pay the £11.99 for new foils , but after reading this post i dropped them a letter and with the broken foils , i got a brand new set of foils in the post this morning , so thanks to this topic indeed0

I sent an email to TIGI (they make the bed head hair stuff) complaining about a shampoo and conditioner I bought (it made my scalp blister and scab NICE!!). A very nice lady emailed back and apologised saying that they had never heard of this happening before and if I let them know what other products of there's I used they would send me some free stuff. A few weeks later I recieved a rather large package from them with all the products I usually use and a few extra, all full size! Nice one TigiWorking hard to be debt free! :A0

geminibabe wrote: »OK, I emailed Andrex to say that I think their longer rolls are a good idea especially with kids who waste lots, they replied and said they are sending me some vouchers. Also emailed Nestle and said that my kids love their magic straws (which they do) they never said anything about freebies, only said thank you! In the past I have emailed Neals Yard and asked them about my combination skin and did they have any samples - I received a lovely box with glass jars of products to try which are lovely - really pleased with that. Tried most of the major cosmetic companies to which they replied that I should visit the counter of my local department store and ask there - and we all know how hard that is! Love this thread btw!!
I said to Andrex that they are the best toilet rolls that I had used, and in conjunction with a Somerfield offer, got 2 12 packs for like £2.50, great saving!:money:LIFE TIME MONEY SAVER - :money: THAT'S RIGHT - TOP SAVING!0 -
After reading this thread I complained to Pataks about my Korma sauce too, which to be fair did taste surprisingly awful for a Pataks effort. They sent me a nice letter and a cheque for £10 so I think I can just about forgive them!0
