I am looking to formal complaint to Amazon.co.uk about a problem I had in August that I have still not received a satisfactory response about despite continuous emails backwards and forwards from Customer Services.
Basically, at the beginning of August I ordered a compilation CD (2xCD) from Amazon.co.uk (NOT MarketPlace) and it was advertised as new, and I paid £15.99 for it. When it arrived in the place of the first disc was another CD (an album by Feeder). I believed this to be a second hand item send out as 'New' - how else would one disc in a 2CD compilation have been changed? - and I have requested information as to how Amazon could be sending out second hand items in place of new. They have not been able to respond other than to say they are still investigating. Since the beginning of August to now is a very long investigation, and I think as time moves on there is less chance of getting an actual answer.
I was wondering if anyone knew who I could contact higher up at Amazon to get a response rather than keep getting fobbed off by Customer Services? I would also like to warn people to check their Amazon goods carefully, as they may not be what they seem. I say this as I feel, if my case had been highly unusual they would have responded speedily to clear it up and ensure it couldn't possibly happen again, but they are clearly not doing so - so maybe it's not so unusual?0 -
I wrote to morrisons over two months ago about a bone in my husbands chicken curry, all i keep getting is regular letters saying they are looking into it, had three so far, not sure what the hell they're doing.......will keep you posted.
Perhaps they are hoping i will just get bored or forget!0 -
I recently emailed a flapjack maker as I purchased some of their flapjack but the bottom was black and burnt upon opening. It was only 97p but I thought I'd let them know. Got a call from a nice lady from the company apologising and asking if I could photograph the flapjack as they were worried they had a problem. Anyway I did so and a few days later got a nice later apologising again and thanking me for my help and to find enclosed a cheque for £10.0

I wrote a complaint letter to Tresemme as my hairspray didn't spray properly and dribbled out everywhere. It was only a mini-sized hairspray and I got £4 vouchers back.
Also I have had no end of trouble with Nationwide messing up when we set up our new mortgage. They have got the direct debit wrong 3 times. I complained and got a cheque for £50. Not much considering the amount of hassle we have had; better than nothing though.0 -
i emailed Nestle to say how much i enjoyed a certain cereal and got £3.00 worth of vouchers,
I complained to Starbucks about the terrible state of their toliets/baby changing and got 5 vouchers to use on any drink, any size.
