Had a reaction to sanctuary facial cleanser & had to hide indoors for 3 days until it cleared up.Sent off the cleanser and a letter with all details .4 weeks later recieved a huge box full of Sanctuary bath & body products full size & a matching travel sized selection.A lovely letter of apology and also an email.

  • I got £15 back from asda because i complained about their black towels (black fluff all over the place no matter how much i washed them!), also £5 from P&G because my asda store wouldn't give me a free lenor when the promotion was on, harribo sweets for a compliment (cos i love em) and i'm waiting on morrisons because i found a bone in my husbands curry, had a letter to say they are looking into it but nothing yet.

Very pleased with all the companies that have responded but woudl only email them if i genuinly had a complaint or really liked their products.
    :)
  • Hi First Posting So Appoligies If In Wrong Place.
First Time Of Sending A Faulty Item Back To Manifactures.sent One Packet Walkers Multi Pack Crisps Back To Company As Packet Open And Crisps Soft Within One Week Recieved 2x £2 Vouchers .was Worth The Stamp And Hastle Of Getting To A Post Office Will Not Hesitate To Do Again About Any Products Now
  • I complained to Fisher Price after my mum bought my DD her first xmas present. It was a Winnie the Pooh tree and within 3 months a piece had come loose and it had a rough edge on it. I emailed them to complain, 2 days later they phoned me up aplogised and advised me to pick another item off the web site. I picked another item that would last my DD longer as she was older now and within 4 days it arrived.

My mum super glued the piece back into the old toy and DD had 2 toys for 10 mins work.

It's definitely worth spending a couple of minutes writing a letter to get free stuff. Also, write letters about any product that strikes you as substandard - you can get loads of vouchers and sometimes even cash!

    My recent best:

Complained to M&S about "fray bentos" style chicken pies in cans (just nasty), got £25 in vouchers.
Complained to Bernard Matthews about horrible turkey roast thing because it was gristly - I paid £1.50 for it as it was reduced, they sent me a cheque for £12.
Complained to Starbucks as they don't know how to make a proper macchiato, they sent me vouchers for 3 free drinks.

If people sell you crappy products or you get bad service, get your own back! :rotfl:

I wrote to Cathedral City telling them how much I enjoyed their cheese (which I do!)
Within a week I received a voucher for one free 200g packet of cheese.

Our local Milkman is giving away free 200g samples of it for the next few weeks.
