  • i have complained to our local sainsburys as they seem to have a staff shortage, 10-15 deep at open check outs, this happened 3 times over 2 days resultig in over an hour and a half queuing up in total, i was asked if i would like a response from the store and i said i would like a response from anybody, this was over a week ago and i have heard nothing since.

update: they eventually called after 3 weeks and explained they were takin on 20 new staff. they did apolgise and sent me a 10 pound gift card. a handy xmas pressie for someone:beer:
  • With regard to this and other holiday problems, you could always try the following which a friend did:
Start a claim in your local small claims court. While Haven and the other large companies may bluster over the high power legal guns they can roll out, they will still have to transport and accomodate them in your area while they deal with the matter. In most cases this will far outweigh the cost or refunding your money. This may not be as effective if you live near the head office, but can strongly influence then if they have to travel. Staff at the court will assist and advice on the process of starting the claim and guide you through the process. While there is a small fee to pay you can add that to the cost of the claim as a further expense incured.
    Good luck.

I have sent numerous things back that haven't been up to standard, from chicken dippers to sweets! I usually get vouchers back in return but if we are paying for these things we have a right to complain! I sent a loveheart sweet back to swizzels cos it was all black and they sent a large bag of sweets and packets of swizzels back. If I am happy with a product too I like to comment the maker on this and they often send money off coupons back! McCain are the best!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I used to really love Pizza Hut stuffed crust pizzas.

Then they closed our take away shop for a few months so i stopped getting them. Then they re-opened for some reason (all a bit confusing) so i ordered a stuffed crust pizza which had gone up to £14 and i was really really looking forward to it. It arrived and it tasted horrible, it was completly and utterly different to the stuffed crust they used to do, the edge wasnt golden anymore it was dry and floury looking and over herbed.

Should i write to them about this as i couldnt eat it or do i jsut put it down to theyve changed the recipe?

Would love peoples opinions on this

I would definitely complain to "Pasta" Hut (as they're soon to be called...!) They charge a high price for their grub and you never receive anything like the photo's on website show... Hubby & I tried a stuffed crust & cheesy bites edged pizza's (using our Clubcard vouchers of course!) and they were a complete disappointment. Would never get them again or pay using "real" money as they're too extortionate. ESPECIALLY after reading on a Clubcard Deals/Pizza Hut thread recently, that they have a £1.95 mark-up on their pitiful garlic bread... Think I've just added them to my list of companies to boycott! (McD's, Nestle are the first two.) Feel just like Catherine Tate's "Nan" now, moaning on, ha ha ha!:rotfl:
  • Complained to Paperchase; on two occasions I bought one of their gel pens and both suddenly stopped working. Opened up the pen and saw that barely any ink had been used. First time I thought it was just bad luck, but when it happened again I was a bit miffed. They were quite good for drawing as well, back when they worked! Got sent some refills after sending back the faulty ones.

I purchased white Tesco bread only to find we had brown bread in the packet. On ringing customer services they didnt believe me so I posted the wrapper with a couple of brown slices to them. Received Tesco card with £3 on it.
