    Hi

can anyone help me out. I bought some earphones recently they cost £10 and only lasted a week before not working at all and no sound coming from them so i emailed the company and they told me to return them to the place of purchase "As per the Sale of Goods Act it is the seller, not the manufacturer, who is responsible for replacing or refunding products which do not conform to expected standards." Is this right because usually when i have a complaint i email the company directly and they deal with their own faulty items for example when my mp3 broke i sent it back to the company and they sorted it. I don't really want to take it back to the shop as it is not their fault and i don't have the reciept or packaging. What should I do. Thanks

From my last batch of emails I have 2 vouchers for a free product from Hovis :D

Nothing from Gü apart from an email saying thanks for liking our stuff, a thank you email from Alberto Balsam, and refusals for all my baby sample requests (thanks, no we can't send out samples, but you can buy stuff from here)

Yes thats right it's upto the shop to refund or replace at first. But withoutany proof of purchase it might be difficult to prove when you purchased them. If you paid by card you should beable to use your statement to prove the purchase.
