Who are the best companies to contact? I tried Walkers and didn't get anything free, I only seem to get freebies when I complaining, only genuine ones though!
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • The other day I went into McDonalds and there was a hair in the BigMac (Yuk.) so I complained via email, and got a nice email back saying they were sorry, etc, sorry sorry blah blah blah. And that was it... I did give my address, but they aren't sending me anything. Have I done anything wrong in the email?!
    Any tips?

I like to think I'm quite good at complaining :D

I got a free meal (for 4, I think) from Pizza Hut. We went to one of the two restaurants near us and the staff were too busy messing about behind the counter to even seat us so I wrote and got a letter back about how they were reviewing staff training in that branch, plus the voucher (which we used at the other branch!)

I also got a free night in TravelInn on two separate occasions, once the maid let herself in without knocking while I was still sleeping, and another time the towels were not washed properly. On the first occasion I complained to the duty manager and was refunded my money, the second time I got no joy from the girl at the desk so I wrote a polite letter and got a free night voucher.:T
